What rooting a phone actually means?

Rooting an android phone actually means breaking the special layer of security provided in android phones which involves giving access to special permissions. Androids have many multiple security levels that protect your android phones from various malware and Trojans. If your android phone is un-rooted it won’t allow you to change or manipulate original android codes to do something very special which is not allowed to do in android phones.

However, you can break this security level to do some un-regular jobs, which cannot be performed on un-rooted android phones.

Rooting basically works on the principle of removing and changing some original codes which are required for providing you a security level. Some apps are capable of doing some extraordinary jobs, which requires special permission from your android phone. Rooting an android phone simply involves, breaking those levels of securities and manipulating the codes to get special access to perform special jobs that are not possible to do in normal androids.

So these are the apps that you can use to root your android phone. You can do this process on your own, without using any apps but for this you will need a good knowledge of programming and technology.

Rooting an android phone does not only make your android phone an easy target for hackers and malware, but it also can make trouble for you in the following ways:

  1. You may feel lagging and sudden switch off and restart your android phone.
  2. Heating and charging issues may occur after rooting an android phone.

Is it harmful to root android phones?

I will never recommend you to root your android phone because after rooting an android phone you are absolutely going to have some serious issues and also you may lose your android phone forever. I had also rooted my android phone one year ago and trust me after few months my android phone started rebooting by itself, and no options were available for me since I also tried to reinstall new firmware then also problems were not sorted, so just try to avoid rooting your android phone.
